The Mister 'Know it All'
Sakalain is a media person from London, UK. He came to us to help him achieve his weight goal for doing a 90 KM Ultra run.
"I decided to do a 90km run in Iraq and was not sure if my fitness level was up for it. I came across a video on binge eating by IOH on Facebook and got in touch with them. My journey with IOH started in February 2017. I was 95kgs with 42" waist. Initially, I was not able to adhere to their dietary advice, with their continuous support, soft but firm approach psychologically helped me and I succeeded following a healthy lifestyle. I also was advised well, on how to improve my long distance running by the physical fitness expert.
In 6 months I have lost 17kgs and 8" from my waist. I have found the team IOH approachable, knowledgeable and I'm thoroughly impressed with them.
Though I was not overweight, I always had a bulging mid section. I approached IOH in the end of 2015, and followed 5 meals a day which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks. I snack on nuts, seeds, sound or steamed vegetables. I eat 2 vegetable salads a day. Also I reduced the coffee consumption to almost nil. My fitness regimen included walking etc 45 min a day of walk for 4-5 days a week. Within few months, I lost 4-5 Kgs and started shaping up the mid section. With a healthy well balanced diet and regular walk and other exercises, I am able to maintain a healthy physique now.
The best thing I learned from my association with IOH is that I don't have to starve to lose those bulges instead I have to carefully plan my diet, so that I eat more still I lose weight."
